Happy New Year!

The holidays were extra special this year with the French version of Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas now available! Happy New Year and Bonne Année to all!

Happy Holidays!

Thanks to this nice Amazon fan who made my holidays even happier with this sweet review of Merry Christmas, Mary Christmas!

“This is a great holiday story with both humor and a nice message about giving to others. My children loved the word play with Mary’s name and had fun shouting Merry Christmas, Mary Christmas as we prepared our own home for the holidays. This is a great story to remind us all not to get too caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday and a gentle reminder to spend time with family and friends.”

What I’m Excited About…

One of the things I love most is helping other authors shape and mold their stories. Especially picture book authors!  If writing a picture book is on your bucket list, I hope you’ll check out the new Critiques page on my website and let me know if I can help! I’d love to help you take the next step towards publication.

This is What I’m Grateful For…

One of my favorite holidays, Thanksgiving, is almost here. One of the things I’m grateful for: nice reviews! Love this one from an Amazon fan about Thanksgiving Rules!

“This book is amazing. We got it from the library and I realized I couldn’t build my children’s library without it. It has become one of their favorite books ever!! Well written and illustrated, it’s timeless.”

Get Ready for Halloween!

Good news! I’m proud to announce that I’m Not Afraid of This Haunted House is now available in Japanese. And just in time for Halloween!

Mallory Makes a Difference now available in paperback!

In other Mallory news, book #28 in the Mallory series, Mallory Makes a Difference, is now available in paperback! And just in time for the holiday season!

What the book is about:
For Thanksgiving, Mallory starts a food drive at her school. The plan is to make sure families in need get a tasty Thanksgiving meal. She even has an idea about how to get her whole school involved. But when things start to go wrong, Mallory has her hands full!

The inspiration for the book:
Mallory Makes a Difference was inspired by an amazing group of students I met who started a food drive at their school that has now become an annual tradition. They shared with me the difficulties they faced in keeping all of the cans they collected organized, as well as the joy they felt doing something nice for people in need. Hopefully Mallory Makes a Difference will inspire other students to know that one small action can make a big difference.
