Happy Birthday, Mallory

Mallory McDonald is turning nine! And she’s ready to celebrate! Eight was a hard year. She had to move, go to a new school, make new friends, and deal with her annoying older brother. She wants nine to be the best year ever, so she’s planning an extra-special celebration. But things don’t go according to plan, and Mallory fears being nine might be just as hard as being eight. Is there anything she can do to put the happy back into her birthday?
